I just read on another posting site that Obama dumped Biden to get a woman like McCain did. Is that true? I haven't heard anything yet on the news yet.. but read it on Gather. http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp?articleId=281474977443210
So why would he dump Biden after telling the world on national TV that he chose Biden. Biden gave that eloquent speech about how good Obama will be for the country, and he dumps him for a strategic move? Now to be fair here, McCain was talked negatively about for choosing a female. After reading and seeing so much about Sara Palin I think she will be a great asset to McCain. Now it would look funny if McCain up and dumped Palin... so why would Obama dump Biden? Is it because he is worried that he won't win the race without a female running mate? Have you seen this on the news yet? I haven't heard it... except for this piece on Gather.
If it is true, it might look like Obama can't make a decision of who he wants to run with and keep with it.
Is it that Biden all of a sudden doesn't want to be VP? What is it? Or is it even true?

I have not heard anything about this as of yet. I can't imagine that Obama did dump Biden-he would have to be a bigger idiot than I thought. It might look okay if Biden decided to step back as Obama's running mate, but for Obama to dump him would look really bad - especially after he passed Hillary over for Biden to begin with. Such a move would be viewed by most to be just a political move to counter McCain's choice of Palin. [newtondak]

I don't see BO dumping Biden but I have read that he is sending out "surrogate" women to do speeches for him to try to bring in the women voters. I haven't heard or read anything about this occurence. I doubt this is true, believe me this would've been breaking news and all over the tv today. Biden has all of this experience in foriegn policy so why would Obama dump Biden, would'nt be very smart on Obama's part. I think Biden is a great asset to Obama, Palin just applied for a passport recently and has only traveled outside of the US once (according to tv). I scaned the story you posted I do not know if that is true or not. I think that it would be stupid for anyone to change their running mate so late in the season. I could not find anyone more on the subject on the internet. So much is written about the candidates that are untrue you do not know who to believe.
