Another Red Flag Obama Seeks Muslims For White House Posts

Barack Obama is conducting his own affirmative action program to get more Muslims in the White House. The move began with Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn, who took his oath of office with a hand on the Quran, to solicit the resume of what he considered to be the nation's most qualified adherents of Islam. According to the Denver Post, when White House officials heard about the program, it was put on overdrive. So far, 45 Ivy League grads, Fortune 500 executives and government officials have been submitted for consideration The one parapgrah ""We thought it would put (the president) in a precarious position. We didn't know how closely he wanted to appear to be working with the Muslim American community." strikes real fear in me. This is what I have been afraid of all along. What else is Obama hiding from us? J. Saleh Williams, program coordinator for the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association, sifted through more than 300 names as part of the search. "It was mostly under the radar," Williams said. "We thought it would put (the president) in a precarious position. We didn't know how closely he wanted to appear to be working with the Muslim American community." Ellison is serious about his faith. He made the pilgrimage to Mecca with the sponsorship of the Muslim American Society, an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. In 1991, Mohamed Akram wrote a memo for the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood that explained its work in America as "a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions." http://wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=93251

I don't know if I should laugh or cry. I told people they really didn't know what they were doing when they voted for this man. I am not prejudice at all, I just truly believe this man does not have this countries interest in his heart, but I'm an idiot so don't listen to me. sh_t did any body read his book? he outlined how he would destroy this nation and how he would side with radical Islam. He has family that are jehadist. [freethinkingagent]
I am sorry to say that I think there will be a lot of crying before he is finished ruining out country. [whiteheather39]

Why doesn't this surprise me? Oh, that's right--because I knew he was nothing more than a pathetic muslim asskisser from day one. [sndcain36]
"what if 0bama were deliberately seeking out evangelicals to fill posts?" Amen! What if Pres. Bush had? Can you imagine! [flowerchilde]

I dont know how but somehow this just cant happen! So many people were foolish to fall for his slick tounge. But no one listened to my posts grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr [Lakota12]

As if I needed more evidence that 0bama is a sleeper agent for islamofascism... [AngryKittyMSV]
The evidence just keeps pouring in! [whiteheather39]

If he includes those people then The US will become the future talibanthumbdown [mathss1]
Obama needs to replace the B with an S whistle His love for taliban is appalling .The talibanist regime is the worst regime on the face of this earth ,they kill and destroy others angry [mathss1]

Times sure have changed. In the 1960's my brother in law was denied the opportunity to serve on nuclear submarines of the US NAVY because he was a security risk. His problem? He had a shirt tail relation he did not even know about who was a member of the communist party in an european country. Bear in mind, he did not know the man or that he was even alive or a relative. Now, members of a religion whose members are taught to deceive the infidels in order to convert or kill them are actually being recruited to serve in sensitive positions? How stupid can the government get? [redyellowblackdog]

Why can't he just can these racist policies and search for qualified people instead of making everything another affirmative action style selection. People may not like Bush, but there was no question that when he chose people like Powell, Rice, and Gonzales, it was based on their qualifications and not on their minority status. It really frightens me to think that a person's religion is the FIRST thing taken into consideration when hiring them. [Taskr36]
I think Obama is making Bush look better every day. [whiteheather39]

I am very sorry but this is where I draw the line, you CANNOT base everyones behavior on the actions of some evil few. If that were the case and some Canadians decided hey, lets go and terrorize some people, I suppose that everyone would lable us "Terrorists". I think that by Obama doing this, he is showing everyone that he is not afraid. To those of you here on mylot who don't agree with what he is doing, let me ask you this: Have you never hear of this saying?: Kepp your friends close and your enimies closer? I have and I think that he is very smart, not only is he showing the muslim community that he is not afraid of what others think, he is also giving these people a chance to redeem their reputations. I think that it is EXTREMELY WRONG to judge people based on the actions of others, that would be like saying that because the white people condone freedome of speech for the KKK, that we are all haters of the African Americans, and we all know that this is not the case. I think that everyone needs to relax and stop thinking that they are constantly being plotted against, it's no wonder there is no peace in the world, no one knows how to be peaceful! [CRIVAS]
Thank you CJScott, your comment was sensitive and thoughtful. I am an American and a Muslim. I think hiring based on qualifications is essential, otherwise how would the company evaluate an applicant without those qualifications. It is always the same, Muslim people have spoken out and condemned the acts of others that behaved in an unIslamic manner. Why are they not heard? I will tell you why, because the media does not give a fig about the majority of Muslims who desire peaceful relations and only care about reporting on the acts of the evil as it is more sensational and sells more books, magazines, papers, whatever. Moral Muslims are boring to the media, this is why we are not heard. Thank you and May the Creator bless you and guide you to the right and correct information. [krissy32]

I post about this very same thing last night,in my opinion the moves the American people have watch Obama take in less then three months in office clearly shows he has close connections with the muslin people in the middle east as well in the United States. His very first public message after getting in office was to the people of Islam. He told them he understands them and much of his family is Muslim and he has lived in Muslim countries. Obama's blood cousin is prime ministry of KENYA,Raul Odingo as all of Barack Obama's Kenya family Odingo is a Muslim socialist and Odingo is behind much political blood shed in Kenya killing off the Kenya Christians right by the thousands. His father Barack Hussein Obama Sr was a socialist Muslim, his step father Lulu Sorotos was a socialist Muslim,Obama Jr lived in Indonesia as a Muslim of the Islam faith. Barack Obama Jr traveled in to Pakistan in the 1970's,he writes about his trip in to Pakistan in the 1970's in his book "Dreams from my father",the time period Barack Obama writes about in his first books the county was in a deep conflict, American citizens was not allowed in to Pakistan,Obama entered under a non-American citizen pass port, with our question in my mind Barack Obama Jr is a closet Muslim. The foolish American voters has open the door and let the dam fox in the hen house, don't expect Barack Obama to answer the red phone at 3 A.M. he don't have to pick up the phone because he is the devil behind the details. [kennyrose]

I don't know what is on the mind of your President if he think that he would make Muslims or Muslim countries be more friendly to him. But it is really intriguing that he has thought of this and what is his real motive in doing so. [strawberrychocodahi]
Well he's already tried cozying up to Ahmadinijead, and that failed miserably. All it lead to was him being accused of INSULTING Iran and they subsequently demanded apologies for things that the US was and was not responsible for going back over 50 years, before either leader was born. [Taskr36]

Here goes another nasty email to my elected reps! Grrr.... Who does he think he is that he can hire people BECAUSE of their religion?! Where is the ACLU when you need them? That kind of action is only appropriate when hiring a head of a church. Wonder why it was 'mostly under the radar'. Maybe because they KNEW it would fire us up? I REALLY hope they prove he isn't allowed to hold this office becuase he isn't a citizen! [Ramoth]
What makes you sure it is the first reason or the reason. How do you know they are not the most qualified? But I do agree, if it was the only place that has merit is in hiring church officials, whatever church they may happen to belong to. [CJscott]

Wouldnt it be good to have the correct people in the white house - those capable of doing their best for the people of the United States - irrespective of their religion? [cooler1968]
Whiteheather, anyone who kills another in the name of religion is a bigot. Equally, anyone who mistreats another because of their religion is also a bigot. The Irish as a whole, are not bigots. Some are, most are not. The views expressed in this discussion by some are either bigotry or as close as you can come to it. [cooler1968]

According to the article I found it's not a case of Obama "seeking" Muslims for White House positions but of groups forwarding lists of those they consider to be qualified candidates to him of their own accord and it's not an unusual practice. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/chi-obama-muslims-bdmar29,0,1613555.story A White House aide confirmed the Obama administration had received the resumes, noting that it is "not unusual" for the administration to consider lists of job candidates suggested by constituent groups. "We're still very much in the middle of the [hiring] process, even when it comes to very senior government employees. These things take time, and they're all based on finding the right fit," said the aide, who declined to be identified because he is not authorized to speak publicly for the administration. (End of excerpt) I'd be upset if it were a case of Obama looking to hire Muslims just for the sake of hiring them, as I would be if it were another specific group of people, but I see now evidence of that so far. Annie [anniepa]
You would prefer him to take his oath on a book he doesn't respect or know? I would much prefer someone to take an oath on something they believe, because it would mean to me they are far less likely to do wrong according to it. [CJscott]

This sounds dangerous. What were the people thinking when they elected him? Were they so afraid of being called bigots if they did not make a part black man president, and were they so taken in by his lies, and so believed that all people who have negro roots in them are always honest and respectful, that they overlooked his inexperience and his Muslim background? I mean not only will America be ruined financially by this man's policies, but there will be a gradual Musliminazation (sorry I could not find a word, had to invent this one)by force and intimidation if one does not stop it. [suspenseful]
Ramoth great comment and links, thank you. [whiteheather39]

I wonder, would everyone be freaking out this much if Hindus or Buddhists or Mormons or Wiccans were being hired at the White House? What if someone was sworn into office on the Baghavad Ghita instead of the Bible or the Qoran? Why is it that we have such a problem accepting that our country has many citizens of many different religions, and it is fair for all of those religions to be represented in our leadership? Maybe this will be an opportunity for people of different faiths to work together to try to make the situation better across the board. [thyst07]
Thanks for your comment. It's good to know that there are others out there who are willing to adopt acceptance as their attitude rather than automatic judgment. [thyst07]

shocked I was thinking about how sad it is, that people have to be afraid of what may happen and sadly be afraid of their president. I have never heard so much fear from this many people over a president. He was to suppose be the calm, helpful, rescuer according to the voters. Noow all we hear is one thing after the other to frighten the American people. It is frightening enough to deal with the economy and then there are all these red flags, constantly. [eaforeman6]
Ramoth ... I am not brainwashed, but neither am I brain dead. Interesting metaphor you use - apples and oranges. Perhaps it sums up your rebuttal. No, the killings were not authorised or sanctioned by the president of the United States at the time. However, those who killed often believed that what they did was good and right according to their "christian" beliefs, and did so with immunity from prosecution from those in authority. Some of those in authority also took part in such heinous crimes. Do I blame all of the United States for such atrocities? No, I dont. Should you view all the Islamic World and all muslims with suspicion because of the actions of a few, albeit a substantial minority? No, you shouldnt. [cooler1968]

hi whiteheather...well it seems that your President is trying to reach out the Muslim community and make peace i guess...its a good move actually if the intention is really pure , actually its a familiar move since our President(Philippines) did that also hired Muslims and detailed it in different agencies ..and even appointed some of them in some of the highest position of the land...well i think it give the govt the advantage in terms of politics and for peace and unity agreement between the radical Muslims and the constituents as well to mention a few....However in your case(USA) i really cant point out if it will be of advantage to your govt..or to the people as well..since i know for a fact that Muslim radicals hated the guts of the Americans since time memorial... a big example was the 9/11...I guess Americans should be vigilant more for whatever may happened in the near future.. [vanities]

I'd say, yeah. So what? Why not? Isn't it that there are a lot of Muslim americans? Isn't it that all americans enjoy the same rights and privileges? Well, I'm just looking at it as an outsider. Don't crucify me. [nympha687]
What bothers me is that he asked for a book/list of qualified people of a specific religion. [whiteheather39]

Put a sock in it White Heather, Dont sound the water spilling over the barn alarm yet. How else to you say America should work with and manage our relationship with the Muslim community of the World? We cannot bomb and destroy over 2 billion people who follow that faith. What we can do is separate those that are out to kill us from those that want to share in our commerce. This the approach I believe President Obama is taking while at the same time he is letting those Al Qiada forces that still wish to attack Americans that we will dismantle you, disrupt you and eventually destroy you. [Sourceseeker]
Ha ha ha. Both of you get ready to knit a lot of socks. [whiteheather39]

I tried to tell people that this idiot is dangerous BEFORE the brainwashed American voters elected him president, but no one would listen to me. I was called a racist and everything else for speaking out against him. TO THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED FOR OBAMA....All I can say is, "DON'T BLAME ME...I TOLD YOU SO...AND I VOTED AGAINST THIS BAST@RD!" Unfortunately, you have set us ALL up for one hell of a fall, and I WOULD tell you to take your medicine and live with the idiotic choice you made, but sadly, we will ALL have to take a dose of the medicine. Our country is going to suffer DRASTICALLY now that Obama is in office. This is only the beginning...the worst is surely yet to come....I just hope all you stupid bast@rds that voted for Obama realize what you have done to our country...This could very well be the beginning of the end of the United States as we know it...the country..the very way of life that patriots during the Revolutionary war fought to create...and that tens of thousands of American soldiers have died to defend...I hope you all are happy as hell, because you have screwed us all...you may as well elected Osama Bin Laden president...here is another idea...Let's resurrect ADOLF HITLER...you can vote for HIM in the next election...it would be about the same as voting for Obama... [goldeneagle]
Why not they both seem to be passionate in their quest to destroy our country. [whiteheather39]

For the love of God, NOT every Muslim is radical or extremist in nature, heck did anyone stop to consider that the person just happens to be THE most qualified person for the job? The last I learned, one of the ideas that the USA was founded on was religious freedom. If folks continue to have the separationist feelings I'm seeing more and more these days, you can count on us NEVER getting the economy back on track, you can count on the US never really solving their problems, you can count on never getting anything done! I'm surprised at how many anti-Obama discussions I've seen on myLot recently--the only thing I've seen him really do wrong was to NOT properly check out his supporters (but in this day and age, how many innocents can one find in politics?). As I heard from Gordon Ramsay, 'Change or die'. The USA needs to change some things or else we're headed to another Great Depression. [scorpiobabes]
Oh, for God's sake, I'm NOT going to get into a religious discussion. Just think...how many of the craziest killers were Christians, Jews, Muslims? Honestly, I was only trying to make a point and as usual, it's skewed back to the originator of the post (which is why I've been staying away). But again, look at the beginning of my first statement: NOT every Muslim is radical or extremist in nature...I've met quite a few Muslims who happen to be very polite and intelligent! Honestly, I've never seen a group of folks get so hung up because of ONE person who incited something really horrible. For the record, someone I knew quite well from a previous job was on Flight 93. I also happen to be Catholic (oh wait, my ex thinks Catholics are bad). Oh, and I'm a single, white woman. I guess I'm in the minority. And one last thing I'd like to state on the record: I did NOT vote for Obama; however, I'm trying to make adjustments since he was elected (and no, I didn't vote for McCain either!). [scorpiobabes]

Is the Zeitgeist II for real, not just fiction? I think everything slowly happens each day. [Kofficup]
In this administration zeitgeist is insidious and dangerous. [whiteheather39]

My friend today, i have read alot of interesting topics regarding how obama ruling in America. Now you can also read about it at following website. www.failedwhitehouse.com [srikanth04110025]
Interesting link. Thank you [whiteheather39]

Hi whiteheather... I thought you couldn't even say his last name while he was running for the presidency? What changed? This is very frightening because the next thing is the caliphate... [deejean06]
I still think of him as O(NO)bama but to differentiate between him and Joe the Plumber I have to use his current name. Or perhaps I should use Barry Soetoro, Muslim. The name and religion he was known by as a student . [whiteheather39]

Nice fight going on here.:) All the affirmative action and "religion doesn't matter" aside, I have a question: How many red flags does it take?Also... if this makes people uneasy, we have the right to feel uneasy - what's wrong with that? [peavey]
You are correct my right to feel uneasy or any way I want is about the only thing left that I know for sure Obama's administration cannot take away from me. The day may come when I have to hide it but they cannot stop me feeling any damn thing I want to. [whiteheather39]

I truly believe he is trying to get all his people in place before America wakes up. Every day we hear from the grape line, not the newspapers just how evil this guy is. Thank God for the Internet. With out one day we would wake up and be Muslims and not have a clue how it happened. I pray ever day that America wakes up soon. I pray we can impeach him . Even having a idiot like Biden is better then him. He is still not showing his real birth certificate and he keeps on getting away with it. Do you think he can be stopped before is to late? [patms1]
I do not think he will be stopped as long as there are so many die hard fans who are blind to what he is doing. The adage "There none so blind as those who WILL NOT SEE" is scarily true as far as Obama is concerned. [whiteheather39]

The thing that I don't understand about so many of us who claim to be Christians, is that our thinking is in so many ways a far cry from what Christ taught or how he lived! Is not the objective of anyone who is a Christian to live as Christ like a life as possible? Was Jesus not inclusive of everyone? I don't think I ever read anything in my bible where he turned away anyone, except when he threw the money changers out of the temple. That said, I don't understand Christians' huge fear and loathing of other religions. To say that every Muslim is a Jihadist is like saying every Christian is a Klanner! All faiths have good people and extremists, including Christianity. Having Muslims working in Gov. is no different than having Christians, Jews, Buddists, or even Native Americans who choose to practice their own beliefs. During the Great Depression, President Roosevelt cautioned us that "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself". I understand that it is hard not to get caught up in the fear that was marketed by the previous admin. for 8 years. It is what kept them in power but eventually what cost them this last election. I believe that the thing that we need to do with this admin. or any admin. is cautious observation but with an acceptance of all points of view and not be blinded by previously learned predjudices. This is a Nation that believes in God..... It is also a Nation that does not determine which God we are supposed to believe in. All qualified people should be welcomed into our Gov. during these trying times, regardless of thier religious beliefs. That is my oppinion. [LilacMoon54]
Not everyone who is afraid of O. needs to be Christian. They just need to live on planet earth. I work for a Hindu and a Buddhist who are scared of him as well. [Ramoth]

The Congressional Muslim Staffers Association is a Private organization that is not affiliated with any Gov. office. The list of hopefuls that they submit to any Gov. agency to be considered for a position would naturally, then, be Muslims. If you take a look at the actual White House staff and Obama's Cabinet, you will find a multitude of Christians. I suspect that were there a Congressional Buddist Staffers Association, or a Congressional Christian Staffers Association, you would find only members of those faiths on their respective lists. That does not mean or in any way infer that the President is only going to pick staffers from that list. [LilacMoon54]
"That does not mean or in any way infer that the President is only going to pick staffers from that list.".... but he did..Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn, who took his oath of office with a hand on the Quran, to solicit the resume of what he considered to be the nation's most qualified adherents of Islam. There was no-one of any other religion on the list. Why do you think it was "done under the radar" if he did not feel he was showing favoritism to one religion over the others. [whiteheather39]

I am sorry I ever commented on what you had to say. You must not of read what I wrote or you would not of answered the way you did. lol Have a great day [LilacMoon54]
Because I wanted to send you a personal message ... nothing more. I would still like to do that. [cooler1968]

Oh white heather I understood what you were trying to do, however, you did not manage to do it right!!! If you want to put forth a viable argument, you really need to understand all of the facts, and not present only one side. I do not wish to argue with you any more. It is fruitless! Have a great day. [LilacMoon54]
thumbdownw00tHa ha halol [whiteheather39]

I notice you talk about Obama Alot, do you like him? he is a good President. Well to each his own! [marciascott]
Yes I do, No. IMO He is not. Well he's not mine. [whiteheather39]

Agree it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions. [Mentmagic]
